What inspired you to Join the CDMO Industry?

Coming out of college with a degree in supply chain, I didn’t really know which career path I wanted to take. I got my first job as a Manufacturing Associate at a CDMO, and I fell in love with the concept of contributing to a better life for people by helping sponsors research and develop pharmaceutical drug products.

What DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?

I thrive in environments where I can wear many hats, and the CDMO world is perfect for that. As the Director of Manufacturing, I am heavily involved in a variety of aspects, such as procurement and operations, which keeps every day different and interesting!

What was your dream job as a child?

I always wanted to be a firefighter, and even looked into that option after graduating from college, but that CDMO opportunity I mentioned earlier interested me far more as a long-term career path.

What do you enjoy doing in your off time?

I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, even when it can get a little crazy! I also like  working out at the gym, getting together with friends and extended family, watching my favorite sports teams, and going on trips to the Jersey Shore.

What's one of your proudest achievements?

My proudest achievements are my three beautiful daughters.

What's one of your favorite quotes?

I always liked the expression “work hard, play hard!” and have done my best throughout my career to work as hard as I can so I can enjoy my time off knowing that I put everything into our manufacturing efforts. I also like to lead my team with the same mentality—it ensures we can be the most productive and maintain a healthy balance between professional and personal time.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in life sciences?

Dedicate yourself to mastering your skills and understanding the science behind the work you do. Excelling in this industry comes from persistence and committing to your own growth.
