Early in my career, I began questioning why all the pieces needed for drug development, particularly early-phase drug development, had to be separate. The idea of a single organization that could move a drug through all the early stages of development had been talked about for years, but nothing had really been done to make it happen. I was inspired to transform this outsourcing paradigm, and that’s exactly what I set out to do with Altasciences.

We’ve earned our reputation by finding solutions to what others couldn’t—one program at a time. Over three decades, we’ve gained invaluable insights from both successful compounds we have helped develop and those that didn’t advance following thorough assessments. Each experience has sharpened our creativity and effectiveness.
