Meet the People Who Have Helped Build Altasciences

We are proud to say that many Altascientists have been with our great company for nearly our entire 30-year journey, witnessing and contributing to our evolution from a CRO focused on generic drug testing and bioanalysis  to an integrated, end-to-end early-phase CRO/CDMO providing preclinical studies, complex clinical trials, manufacturing and analytical services, as well as the full array of CRO services.

We asked some of our pioneers what keeps them coming back.

Leadership Insights

Early in my career, I began questioning why all the pieces needed for drug development, particularly early-phase drug development, had to be separate. The idea of a single organization that could move a drug through all the early stages of development had been talked about for years, but nothing had really been done to make it happen. I was inspired to transform this outsourcing paradigm, and that’s exactly what I set out to do with Altasciences.

Chris-Perkin
Chris Perkin, CEO

We’ve earned our reputation by finding solutions to what others couldn’t—one program at a time. Over three decades, we’ve gained invaluable insights from both successful compounds we have helped develop and those that didn’t advance following thorough assessments. Each experience has sharpened our creativity and effectiveness. With cutting-edge technologies enhancing our decisions, study designs, and workflows, the value and speed we deliver to our clients continues to grow exponentially.

Marie-Helene Raigneau
